Wage: $17.00 to $19.00 / hour (To be negotiated)
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time; 30 to 40 hours / week
Employment Conditions: On call, Overtime, Day, Weekend, Flexible hours

Job Requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Experience an asset
Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Large workload
Work Location Information: Staff accommodation available, Urban area

Size of Lodging Operation (Hotels, motels, resorts etc.): 50 – 100 rooms
Specific Skills/Main Duties:
· Establish and implement operational procedures for the housekeeping department,
· Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas,
· Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met,
· Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals,
· Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms,
· Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff,
· Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out,
· Respond to complaints from guests
